Waterproofing/Hot Mop

  • Then waterproofing for the walls you can either do with wonder board or the best way is black paper and chicken wire
  • After hotmop, felt paper, and chicken wire is done we call for an inspection of lathe

Tile Installation

  • After Lathe Inspection we start on tile work start on the middle wall first.
  • Plan Your Shower Tile Pattern.
  • Apply the Tile Mortar/Tinset with flashing for corners.
  • Cut the tile and Set the Shower Tile with plastic spacers to desired spacing for grout.
  • Add the Bottom Row of the Shower Tile with plastic spacers to the desired width

Flooring Installation

  • After we complete the shower portion we start on the floors for floors there are a few options.
  • The best option for flooring is the obvious tile! But if the customer wants a cheaper option you can always provide them with waterproof vinyl or laminate which is not recommended.
  • When we lay down any tile we do the same steps for the wall tile on the floor tile, refer to slide number 6.
  • If you're doing waterproof vinyl you have to make sure all the cement is level so you have no low spots then put down damping material and click the vinyl on top.

Drywall/Primer/Paint

  • After tile work Is done we cover up all the finished work with plastic.
  • If walls are bare we apply drywall then mud, tape, and sand before primer and if needed call for drywall nail inspection
  • Apply primer and paint to bathroom walls and ceiling to home owner's desired color.
  • Customers' choice of color of Behrs color and primer combo
